Cristel 1826 Stewpot with Glass Lid, 1.5 qt.

A stainless steel stewpot is a go-to for low, steady cooking when you want room to simmer and build flavor. Use it for soups, stews, braises and one-pot meals that benefit from even heating and a covered cook.

The glass lid lets you monitor your food without lifting the lid and releasing heat. Its rounded shape is designed to encourage heat distribution while helping to keep moisture in the pot for tender results.

Think brothy soups, hearty stews, beans, braised vegetables and slow-simmered sauces. The stainless steel stewpot is also great when you want to start ingredients on the stovetop and keep the cook covered to maintain moisture.

Yes, it is designed with handles that provide a comfortable grip, which helps when moving a full pot to the table. Serving straight from the pot also keeps food warm longer under the lid.

1826 references the year the world’s first stamped saucepan was made at Cristel’s factory in Fesches-le-Châtel. The 1826 collection is meant to celebrate that heritage with a brushed stainless look built for everyday cooking.
