Stainless steel skillets are great when you want strong browning and a good sear, like for ground beef, vegetables or meats. The Cristel Strate stainless steel skillet is designed for everyday high-heat tasks where even heating and control matter.

No. These Cristel Strate stainless steel skillets are sold without a handle and without a lid. They’re designed to pair with Cristel Strate detachable handles and flat lids, both sold separately.

The stainless steel skillet is designed to be used with Strate’s detachable, interchangeable handles, which lock on with a patented mechanism and stay secured until you unlock them. This lets you cook with a handle attached, then remove it for compact storage or to bring the pan to the table.

Yes. The stainless steel skillet is optimized for induction cooking and it also works on other heat sources. That makes it an easy fit whether you’re upgrading to induction or mixing cooktops across kitchens.

Cristel Strate stainless steel skillets use a layered build with a base layer of aluminum sandwiched between interior and exterior layers of stainless steel. The goal is efficient heat transfer with fewer hot spots, so food cooks more consistently across the pan.

A detachable-handle stainless steel skillet can take up noticeably less room because the pans nest and the handle stores separately. It’s a smart approach for apartment kitchens, boat galleys or motorhomes where every inch of cabinet space counts.
