Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener in Gray

A diamond wheel knife sharpener is ideal when you want repeatable, controlled sharpening at home, especially for maintaining a consistent edge across multiple kitchen knives. The Tormek T-1 is designed to help you sharpen with precision, so results feel less like guesswork and more like a routine.

The patented guide is made to help you set the sharpening angle before you begin, which supports consistency from knife to knife. With the guide set, you can focus on steady technique while the sharpener helps keep your angle aligned.

The process starts on the DF-150 fine diamond wheel, which sharpens the full bevel to build a durable edge while removing minimal material. After a burr forms, the PW-160 composite honing wheel refines and polishes the edge using its built-in polishing compound.

The powder-coated zinc housing is designed for durability and a stable feel on the counter during sharpening. The built-in magnet helps collect steel particles as you work, making cleanup more straightforward once you are done.

Yes, the T-1 is designed to be notably quiet at 45 dB, which makes it easier to use more often without disrupting the kitchen. It is a practical pick for cooks who like to keep knives sharp as part of regular prep.
